Suraj Nagaraj is the visionary founder of Nagaraj Music, a platform dedicated to the art of Indo-Western fusion. A violinist for nearly 20 years, Suraj possesses a rare dual mastery of Western Classical and Carnatic music. This unique expertise has made him one of Sydney’s most sought-after musicians, celebrated for his ability to blend traditional Indian soul with modern orchestral elegance.
Since launching Nagaraj Music in 2020, Suraj has worked to standardize and elevate Indian music for the global stage. As a prolific composer and the Artistic Director of the Australian Indian Orchestra (which he co-founded in 2022), he brings professional-grade orchestration to the Indian cinematic genre. His international influence is further reflected in his YouTube channel, ‘Suraj Nagaraj Violin’, where his covers of Indian hits have earned a dedicated global following.
With a decade of experience as an educator, Suraj established Nagaraj Music to serve as a definitive resource for authentic sheet music, expert online coaching, and traditional live entertainment.
